Ashley Crews, Faith-Led Hair Coach started styling hair at age 9 where she was her very first client because her mom could not do hair and she was tired of being teased at school along with her sisters from the awful hairstyles they were forced to wear.
She was able to build and maintain a consistent clientele by age 13 as a traveling hairstylist in Harlem, NY. She now has over 27 years of experience styling hair and 12yrs as the beauty business owner of HairVentionZ.
Since then, she has served thousands of clients to date.
She has been featured in many publications such as HYPE Hair Magazine, Mizz CEO, YAHOO style and beauty, ALURE magazine, Seen on, Dr. oz show, Stylist for Shea Moisture, Black Women Talk Tech, NYFW, Aunt Jackies, TressNoire and more. She also is a Certified Health Education Specialist holding degrees BS in Health and Physical Education and MA in Health & Wellness.
She is a Mom, an Author, Mentor, and Owner of her hair and body brand NyRose Naturals. Now she helps women learn haircare, master styling and build a profitable hair business God’s way!

Ashley Crews (aka the Protective Style Queen) started doing hair at age 9 where she was her very first client. She then went on to style her sisters and mom hair where she blew up and was approached to start working as a stylist at a little salon in Harlem, NY.
Since then, she has served 20,000+ clients till date.
She had been featured in many publications such as HYPE Hair Magazine, Mizz CEO, YAHOO style and beauty, ALURE magazine, Seen on, Dr. oz show, Stylist for Shea Moisture, Black Women Talk Tech, NYFW, Aunt Jackies, TressNoire and more.
She also took classes to perfect her work over the years and is a certified natural hair care stylist and regimen setting consultant. She also is a certified health education specialist holding degrees BS in Health and Physical Education and MA in Health & Wellness.
Her motto is “Hair is my Passion, Health is my Life”. She always educates her clients about the importance of health for healthy hair & body in her styling sessions.
With her freelance work, classes and products combined, she now serves over 50 customers daily and is currently making over $100k every year.
All of this didn't happen in a day. It was a long, lonely journey that need extreme grit and determination.
But now she is dedicated to share her journey, her learnings, her experiences and show you how you can also start out just learning the simple techniques to styling hair for your clients, family, or yourself.
